What if I’m out of town for a couple weeks during the season?
You can either send a friend to pick up your share for you, or, put your share on hold. Here’s a link to how to place a vacation hold on your account.
What if I want to change my subscription during the season?
We’d be happy to help you do that. If you’d like to add on a share, log-in to your account and select “Add Subscription”. If you’d like to change your share’s size, email us at email@example.com.
What if I decide the share doesn’t work for me?
We can help you out with that as well. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to cancel the subscription and receive a refund for any shares not yet received.
How do you decide where to purchase produce from?
We only source produce grown with organic practices.
Our goal is to purchase from local farmers to strengthen this micro-region’s farming community. When varieties and quantities are not available locally, we look towards an operation doing something similar regionally, Lancaster Farm Fresh Cooperative.
How do you decide where to purchase meat from?
We ensure that all beef is 100% grass-fed and pork and chicken are supplemented with non-gmo or organic grain.
Our goal is to support local farmers that follow these practices. If we are unable to find product in our local farming community, we look to Lancaster Farm Fresh Cooperative. At this point, some of our chicken and all pork is sourced from the regional cooperative. By combining our demand for cleanly raised meats we are demonstrating a local need for farming entrepreneurs to fill.
Do you send reminders out for the weekly pick-ups?
We do. And, even more. Our weekly newsletter goes out every Wednesday with a snapshot into the farm week, what’s in the share, and recipe ideas.
